When this shows up

Typical situations

01

New servers, no one in the room

The boxes are in China. Linux or Windows still has to be installed, patched, and hardened — and the team that owns them is not on site.

02

The hardware needs a person

Routine checks, a disk that failed, a host that will not come back. Someone has to look at the machine, not just the console.

03

More than the operating system

Virtualization, the network around it, firewalls and bastion hosts — sometimes an AI environment on top. We set it up and keep it watched.

Method

How we work on this

You keep the keys you need. We do not become a black box.

  1. 01

    Access list

The accounts, VPNs, and people we need — written down before anyone logs in.

  2. 02

    Change window

Work happens in a named window. No hallway yes, no surprise restarts.

  3. 03

    Runbook

What is in production, what we changed, and how to get us if it breaks.

  4. 04

    Handover

You keep the keys you need. We stay on-call if you want a retainer.
