Modbus and OPC plant data

Most of the industrial jobs we see start with a protocol, not a dashboard. Modbus RTU or TCP. OPC DA or UA. Sometimes MQTT on the way out. The plant has devices. Your side has a broker, a database, or an API. The gap is the wire, the point list, and a person who can stand in the cabinet.

When this is the job

A group company cannot see what the line is doing. Local vendor manuals are in Chinese. The map exists on paper and still has to land on the network. HVAC units, skids, and PLCs all show up as the same class of work: read the points, do not invent a new SCADA if you already have somewhere for the data to go.

We collect first. Clean, reliable, documented. A pretty HMI is not the deliverable unless you asked for one.

What we do

On site we identify the devices, the serial or Ethernet path, and who owns the lockout. We bring up the collection path, name the points, and send them to your destination. Failures we already hit get written down so the next outage is not a mystery.

If the stack around the collector is virtualized hosts and a firewall, we do that too — or we work inside the network you already have. Simulated Modbus and TCP are used when the real skid is not live yet. Commissioning is in China; your team can stay on the call.

What you keep

A working path from device to destination. A point list: what we collect, from where, and how often. A short handover note. Source and access stay with you. If the people who need the numbers sit abroad, read on-site in China, your team is abroad.
